Ras Indio Debut His New DVD

1924

ras indio artist from belize new dvdMusic video has grown to become a fundamental element of the success within the music industry despite being a somewhat fresh addition towards the Belizean music scene.

Certainly one of Belize’s music innovators, reggae artist Ras Indio, is splitting new ground with an all-music video DVD titled Visions of Life.

The 14 tracks from the DVD are a mixture of past hits and new tracks, like the recently released “Plant Di Corn,” a song of support for the Belize Grassroots Youth Empowerment Association (BGYEA) of that he is a part and also for the notion of self-sustainability regarding the land that will be also a tenet of Rastafarianism. Collaborators in the project include Indio’s brothers Nkrumah and Fobi Obi (the 3 are sons of punta and kungo legend Bredda David Obi); Melody Man and Ras Cat for “Belizean Girlz,” Fuego God of Belmopan and B-Arrow, son of L.A. producer and Bredda David collaborator Patrick Barrow, in addition to editors Paul Munnings, Ananimous B, Dennis Peyrefitte, Orson Picart and Alex Ellis.

The DVD can be obtained on the internet and through local music outlets for $20.
